There are many reasons why Champion Ballroom is the Twin Cities’ premier ballroom dance and Latin dance facility. We offer the very best in private and group dance instruction, great social dance parties that are open to the public and cardio dance classes. Champion Ballroom (formerly Foster’s DanceSport Studio) opened in 1997 and is owned by dance sport champions Robert and Jennifer Foster. The Fosters have developed a studio that provides excellent instruction for beginners and social dancers as well as for the student who would like to dance competitively.

Our comprehensive program of private and group dance instruction is designed to teach effective, informative, fun and exciting lessons. Each person has individual goals, and that is taken into account for everyone who comes in to Champion Ballroom. It is Champion Ballroom’s sincere desire to help all of our clients reach their goals, whether it be preparing for a special occasion, for a social event, or for a long term goal like competitive dancing.

Owners, Robert and Jennifer Foster,(3 time Undefeated U.S. Professional Theatre Arts Champions, 4 time U.S. Professional Rhythm Finalists, 5 time U.S. Professional Cabaret Finalists, World Professional Cabaret Finalists and 2 time Professional Blackpool Cabaret Finalists) are proud to present to you the most exciting and comprehensive dancing experience in the Twin Cities. Champion Ballroom IS the premier place to make your dancing dreams a reality. Come experience the thrill of learning to dance with our friendly, professionally trained instructors in our 11,000 square ft facility. We teach all forms of dancing including Latin, Ballroom, Nightclub, Swing, and Dance Cardio/Fitness. Champion Ballroom is also available for your event rental and holds social dances every week.

Champion Ballroom is the largest and most supportive ballroom and Latin dance instruction facility in the Twin Cities. The main floor is 3,700 square feet, the second floor is 1,600 square ft, and the third floor is 1,000 square ft.
