Bolero is known as the dance of love. It is a dance that uses characteristics from both Ballroom and Latin dances. These characteristics include rise and fall and Cuban hip motion. The music of the Bolero is passionate and romantic and the dance uses long sweeping side steps and rock steps in its movement. It’s perfect for very slow music.

• Underarm Turns
• Cross Body Lead

The Bolero does take up more space than some of the other Latin dances which will primarily dance on the spot.
