Champion Ballroom Instructors & Staff

Champion Ballroom instructors are highly qualified, certified dance instructors, who continue to receive training on a regular basis. Some of our instructors are specialists in working with new students, and some instructors are specialists with competition students.

Champion Ballroom instructors will always make sure you are enjoying your dance lessons and are learning something all the time. Ballroom and Latin dance lessons should be fun and productive! Whether you are here to learn social dancing or to be a competitive ballroom hobby dancer, Champion Ballroom has some of the Twin Cities’ best instructors!

Here are Champion Ballroom’s instructors:

Caitlin Rose Foster

Caitlin has grown up around ballroom dancing. At 8 years old she performed on PBS’s Championship Ballroom Dancing with her father, Robert Foster. Caitlin teaches all styles of dance and competes professionally with her partner Michael-Paul Newman in the American Rhythm and American Smooth styles. Caitlin enjoys working with both social dance students and competition students.

Lucinda Redd

Lucinda graduated in 2004 with her BS in dance from Brigham Young University. She began dancing at a young age in Monticello, Utah and taught jazz, ballet, tap and clogging at the Blue Mountain Dance Studio. She expanded her dance repertoire to add ballroom and Latin dance in 1997 and performed with the BYU Ballroom Dance Team and the BYU Folk Dance Team. In 2004 Lucinda placed as a finalist in the National Amateur Theatre Arts Competition.

Cara Foster

Cara is Champion Ballroom’s resident ‘kid sitter’! Cara, 11, loves children and will watch your kids while you have a lesson. Champion Ballroom has a ‘kids room’ with toys, dvds, and fun projects that will keep your child occupied while you have a lesson, and they will only be just a few rooms away! Cara charges $3 per hour/child and $1 for each additional child in the family. Just reserve her time when you schedule a lesson!
