 Competitive Student Profile 4Jim Baker Jim is Champion Ballroom’s longest running student! Jim began dancing with Jennifer in the beginning of her ballroom dance career back in 1987! Jim has won 6 National Pro-Am titles with Jennifer in the Theatre Arts division, which combines ballroom dancing with lift work. This is an exceptional accomplishment! Jim has also competed successfully in the American Smooth division dancing Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz. Dance has always been Jim’s hobby and we are very proud of his accomplishments! “Working with Jennifer as a teacher, and now Caitlin as my teacher has been one of the highlights of my life. Jennifer and I accomplished so much and I am looking forward to all the competitions Caitlin and I will do. Competing is always fun for me and it helps me realize my dreams. I am looking forward to another 20 years of dance with the Fosters and Champion Ballroom.”
