Quickstep

Ballroom dance lessons Champion Ballroom offers the Minneapolis, St Paul, and Twin Cities area private and group dance Quickstep lessons.

Quickstep is a dance that seems to fly through the air! This ballroom dance is a challenge because of the speed of the music. And, because is requires plenty of space, it is seen mostly on a competition dance floor as part of the International Standard dances. However, experienced students of dance will do the Quickstep socially.

Popular patterns include:

Spin Turn
Lock Steps
Quarter Turns

Quickstep music is very fun and energetic. Much of the ‘Big Band’ music works very well for Quickstep.
